F480 Java install without wap. Tutorial & software

guys can we use TkFileExplorer for changing the stupid F490 croix theme? i've searched all the internet and i haven't found any suggestions for this. F480 (tocco) and lg ku 990 (viewty) have this feature..you cand install better themes on these phones..anyone has any ideas?
 
I never worked with games on mobile phones etc, where do I have to enter that code in step 13,14 and 15? Do you need internet for that? I hope someone can help me.

Hallo guys! Please help!!! I just bought a F480 from Voda and the code for internals menu (*#6984125*#) doesn't work. Other codes work just fine!!!
Any ideas?????
 
had the same issue my friend .. flashed the latest firmware first and it all worked fine after that. the codes worked like a charm
 
idea is that i would need to get that firmware then i could tell you what code it has, codes are firmware dependable, e.g. i'd changed all codes to *#00* in my z400 mod
 
hey can ne 1 help me pls....... i successfully completed all d steps but after all dat der s no game in my phone....... i donno wat 2 do...... der r so many who ve asked dis earlier in d posts but der s no ans..... so pls pls help me.....
 
what can we advise? your computer does not see the phone, show it to him, put it in front of a monitor o better a web camera

talking seriously are you sure you have the drivers installed?

install them once more or delete and install

change usb port to another
 
Download Driver & File Explorer.Uncompress SAMSUNG_Composite_USB_Driver_4_34_WHQL.zip and execute Setup.exe.Connect F480 to PC. First time you should be prompted with a 'device installed and ready' message.Execute TkFileExplorer_2.2.exeGo to Settings - COM.Scroll down Port window: You should get just one COMxx option. Choose it and press OK.Go to File - Connect. You should get the F480 File System Tree at TkFileExplorer bottom half side.Go to /Exe/Java/GamesCreate a New Folder for your gameAt TkFileExplorer PC upper side select game JAD/JAR files and copy to F480 created folder using drag&drop or right button menu Download option.Repeat steps 9 & 10 for all games you want to install at a time.Disconnect USB cableDial *#6984125*#Go to Internals (Master Key: *#9072641*#)Go to Storage Settings and select Update Java DBEnjoy! ...and save money!

NOTE 1:
You do not need to change Samsung USB mode to Qualcomm. Leave it at its default Samsung mode (if you do not understand this just do nothing )
NOTE 2:
Once driver is installed, Samsung PC Studio 3 still works.

guyz after i install the driver and run the pc studio, it cannot connect to the phone and i have to uninstall that driver and install the whole pc studio drivers again to connect my phone,,,, can you tell me where am i possibly going wrong... or can u tell me where to download the latest pc studio for the phone..... guyz i need help,,,, please!!!!!!!!!!!
 
But my phone don't have the Main Menu Style function. I think because mine is diff firmware/software??
 
i have used the instructions on the 1st page for my S7330 and all worked fine, but now i follow them again i am getting no port to choose in the settings com.

Any ideas folks.
 
Because this forum only allows post modifications during few first minutes I was forced to add that at second post
 
the .jar and .jad files wont show up on tkfileexplorer so cant drag and drop or download to fone, anyone no wat ya have to do cheers.
 
And I don't see any game, I installed Tkfileexplorer; after that I did al the steps you said. But when I look in my games folder, there's no game!Except that everthing works fine.
 
Make sure you have F480 connected via USB.
Also, see what I say at post #2 of this thread.
