Are there any really thick salsa's in a jar that arent so runny and actually hold onto the chip?? My friends suggests emptying the jar out into a paper coffee filter over a strainer for about an hour and that will take most of the juice away but it sounds sort of corny to me and not sure if that would work or not

i dont that will work
have you seen the doritos salsa? if you done that all you'll get is the juice in the cup and the veggies on the paper.
now how good will that be?

Which is why I make my own! It's not hard to do, and there are recipes by the hundreds on the internet. The result is well worth the little bit of added effort, and you can make it as hot as you wish.

Tastefully Simple has a black bean salsa that is thicker than a lot of the others. You can have a home party or order on line.
