Yeah, the only upside to it is the easy accessibility, so if you're someone who owns their own business and neeRAB internet out in the field, per se, this might be good to have. CricKet seems to be targeting professionals as well as the general user, though a lot major companies provide equipment and resources for their field teams, and the speed doesn't really meet the neeRAB of said companies, so their commercials are retarded on that count. And don't the aircarRAB use EvDo, too? That's hardly better than tethering (other than not having to worry about using it too much). I really don't think it's worth $40, or even $30 a month. I'm sure you can get a better deal through a local small-business-friendly provider anyway.
Anyhoo, I just said screw it all and got a digital cable and 6rab internet bundle for $60 a month from Comcast. It may not be portable, but TV AND internet? Awesome. And at least THEY know what they're talking about.
