people of his time could? understand hard concepts what makes you so sure the stories of Noah and Adam and Eve in the Old Testament weren't similarly fictionalised to convey the concept of creation ? Did Jesus invent this type of communication or do you think it was the common method in Judaism ?
John Calvin- would your church fund such an expedition to find their remains ? 6 thousand year old bodies might be still intact and we by and large know the location of Eden. It would be worth doing
Tuberoot- were they really all that educated, the pharisees I mean. Wouldn't their education have been akin to the Madras system still in place in the middle-east which comprises learning off sections of scripture, or in their case, the Qu'ran. Think about it! We in the west are what's different about religion nowadays but these indigenous people have been worshipping God when our ancestors were worshipping trees etc. Would we not be the guests and they the hosts of the bible ?
