yes, the twins were cut out
My sister was telling me they were inportant in the book.

I got Eldest for my sis and I plan to read Eragon soon.
 
The books are awesome, better than the movie.


I picked up the 2-disc version of the movie..in the deleted scenes, the twins and the butcher's daughter(i can't remember her name. i need to reread the books again lol) are in them! So they were supposed to be in the movie.

and now watching it the right way instead of fuzzy online viewing, Saphira is amazing. CGI technology is so advanced now. Thats the type of career i'm going for, so i love looking at that in movies lol
 
LilMouse (I know I know your name but it doesn't come to mind :P) But yeah. It was really very obvious. Or it could be I'm just sooooooo smart and can see through plots very easily. But for the most part all I had to do is read and do the math. It's spelled out pretty plainly.

So am I to assume that you find out in The Eldest? They didn't have it in stores and they're all out at the library. I bought Eragon, but I would have rather just taken it out from the library. Except all were out on loan and on holds. Yeah, like I have the patience for that...:lol:

Wasn't the worst way to spend 15 bucks but I don't know that I'd keep it for life.

Behritall: I KNOW! I would have died if they made them relatives...not that I don't know they didn't, but well, you know...she's an elf princess...I just don't think he's a prince ...in that way. No pointy ears. :lol:
 
does anyone have how much the movie has made worldwide so far? the trailers says it's the #1 movie in the world so i wanna know how much it has made so far

Wow, Eragon has done well in the box office..
 
Peter Jackson was smart, he used WETA, which is an unknown company and was probably willing to do the effects at a certain costs to get their name out there. :D It worked. Good business plan!
 
reminds me of the Emperor in the Star Wars original trilogy
(excluding the holoimage in ESB, he doesn't show up till Return of the Jedi.

go to the features section and do the ride saphira thing, theres film clips on it! some great shots of saphira. i like the 1 where eragon is teaching her how to fly, but i dont remember the end of that scene happening in the book lol must';ve been something they had 2 put in to make the movie flow faster
 
Yeah, they could have done a training montage...easy way to get through it quickly and of course, it could show time has passed.
 
Dragons, horses, and other things. :) But always had a fascination of dragons, that's for sure. The only reason why I read Eragon, it had a dragon on the cover. LOL!!!!
 
the King was only talked about in the book and we never actually got to see him in action, so while it was a good idea to actually add him into the movie, I think there could've been a little more to him.
 
i didn't know he was a professor. Maybe that's why i couldn't stay interested in it, cause I found his writing a bit dry...i think dry is the word i wanna use lol
