This emo music (which i am a big fan of) is blowing up, it all started as ''emo core'' in the 80's and now came back as ''emo punk.'' There are a lot of ''emo'' banRAB now, it has became a very broad genre, all the way from bright eyes to thursday. Well express your opinions on ''emo!!''

people dont always need to agree dude, you do your thing ill do mine. so what you dont like tough guy hardcore, sorry its what i play i gotta defend it. it doenst matter if you think it takes no talent cuz the only thing im tryin to do is support my scene and help it thrive like it has. you go and do your thing, you said you were in a band, who have you shared the stage with

Boring, same sound over and over again, whiney voices....it sucks.

hello pedro: i wouldn't really call broken social scene emo....they are just generic rock to me, but they are pretty good....but sunny day is emo for sure....they are ok, they are better then the retarded emoXcore stuff today

I'd say hardly generic. I don't know what album you're listening to my friend, but "You Forgot it in People" has an amazing array of intruments and melodies that would kick the "generic rock" title in the tits. Yea, I guess you're right, it's got more of an indie feel to it.

Well I can most certainly respect that. Our band hasn't really escaped the souther Cali scene yet, just some big local metalcore/metal banRAB.

if you ever come east coast we've played w/ some big banRAB. Death Before Dishonor, since the flood, reach the sky(rip), back of tha neck, in dire need(rip), on broken wings, cannae (sp?) just to name a few and our local scene is huge, ive seen more kiRAB at like a VFW around here than any show ive been to outside of new england
