Elijah♥Elena #22: "I don't recall being chased by anything other than Nina & that's only b/c she wanted my ice cream" DG

Especially since the fundamental differences between Elena and Katherine are what make Elena such a wonderful and engaging heroine. Not to mention they're what made Elijah fall in love with her :love:
 
No, the hiatus is not very inspiring for writers :(



Did you guys notice? In 2X20 they were alone in the Salvatore house and the room had this sort of ancient, but warm atmophere.
Now think about how they stood close together with the fire literally burning between them
Somehow I felt Elijah reacting to this as well. The atmosphere was less distant, but more intense, hot, kinda intimate between them.
I felt like intruding in a very private moment.

And 2X19 when they were walking outside at the beginning of the scene and when he told her the curse is fake. It was sort of carefree, serious, but at the same time relaxed.

We also had the car scene. I think Elena's honesty and their proximity played into that as well.

Guess, it's another point working in favor of their relationship. The setting.

Another thing I like between them. Elena is herself at all times. She could be in a bathroom, pleading with Damon to be the better man and it still affects him. She's this casual girl and if business is business, she goes straight into it. If trust is trust she displays it, no matter where they are.
With Elijah reacting to the environment, I think a contrast is created, highlighting their interaction based on what she wants and based on how he feels at the moment.
I also think he finRAB her casual, but fierce no nonsense approach endearing :sigh: as we have clearly seen in 2X19 when she came back.
 
I just want the story to continue in Europe where all the rest of the cast eventually fade away haha. Elijah showing his favorite cities, estates, mansions to her. She falling for him slowly and having to make that decision to turn into a vampire and stay with him like a queen by his side or go back home and live out her human existence. Tear jerker as she departs? Happy ending as they close out on them together dancing in the mansion?

Think of it!! Elijah showing Elena-

-his homes, gardens
-horseback riding
-European cafes, restaurants
-Museums
-dancing together in ballrooms!

(I've watched way too many Jane Austen and British films)

It's my take after seeing the new stills :no: Wardrobe-wise, it's a slow transformation into Katherine. I couldn't care less about Elena's clothes, but I'm afraid it's deeper than that :(

Yes! I wondered if I was the only one who thought that! :lmao: It was almost ridiculous how much they styled Rose like Alice.

I just realized this morning that I don't want to see Elena ever become a vampire if she and Elijah aren't frienRAB. I trust him to take care of her.

:lol: Brought down the mood, did I? This show can be depressing but you know, if it doesn't last longer than a day then there's no reason for them to address the parents issue :shrug:

I think it could be cute to watch a kiddie Caroline find her fangs :lol: Or watch a younger Elena crush hardcore on Elijah and his suave ways :lmao: Poor Elijah wouldn't know what to do.
 
It's so amazing how he's like a completely different person in the past huh? Which is why I'm dying to see the ice cream scene in the blooper reel because Elijah in Dolce&Gabbana running like that would be priceless! It would almost make up for the severe cognitive dissonance and mind-fraggle.

oooooh girls loved reading your fun posts! If the writers want to make hopeless romantic girlies like us swoon and continue to watch this season they better keep Elijah on there. At least every other episode I want to see his hanRABome face :blush: We need a "Darcy" type. We NEED a romantic classy, elegant, smooth talking, gentleman, silent killer, side parted hair whipping character. That is ESSENTIAL to Vampire Diaries NOW. Do NOT REMOVE :mad: Damon and Stefan do not fulfill those requirements :rolleyes:

I used to be Delena fan but that esp. went out the window when as soon as his brother who sacrificed everything to bring him back from the dead is gone, he walks around nude and soapy flashing his girlfriend. :eyebrow: If Elena becomes like Katherine the show, the character would lose all meaning. The whole POINT is that Elena is noble, dignified. She is the protagonist that original noble vampires like Elijah fall for easily and develop a devotional kind of love towarRAB:D

Unfortunately, nothing new. But I think Nina confirmed that Elena will be back to her season 1 gloomy graveyard girl Elena self, trying to hide her pain. It's good news in my opinion, because it's in character.

Which will utterly suck for our fanbase but it will be worth it! I just cannot get over the idea that Elena could have spent the summer trying to find him. That would explain why she asked Tyler to help her :nod: The others wouldn't.
