Hmm, it's very possible. DG puts a lot of work into his performance so I think it's very likely he slips little things like that in there. And he spenRAB his time onset with Nina who is of Eastern European descent. Bulgarian, I think? He might be asking her about some things :shrug:
 
Exactly. When someone says they don't see any connection or chemistry or understanding between EE I'm like, seriously? :goof: How can you not see it? It's so there! :lol: Then I take a deep breath and say, well, some people adore DE and I don't see them the way they do. We all see things differently.

2X20 was the highlight of their relationship. I love that Elena separated herself from the Salvatores in her mind, saying "they don't understand". Doing this in Elijah's presence actually implies she believes he does, which is absolutely awesome, because she develops this bond with him and excludes the others at the same time. In her mind it's just her and Elijah, the only person who understanRAB, the only person she believes will understand.
And when she said "I know the chance I'm taking" there was sadness, but also extreme determination in her eyes. It's funny that I would interpret her expression as longing. As if wanting him to encourage her in her decision, to give her the strength she neeRAB. Damn Jenna for ínterrupting that moment.

Elena already started not being afraid of him by the end of 2X11, daring to step closer, tilting her head and smirking like that.
But the turning point was 2X19, you're right. Especially when she came back to him.

I love S and D and their brother dynamics. It's very interesting to watch. But SED is nauseating and an insult to the characters.

Oh wow, have fun! Those books are long and it took JKR, imo, a book or two to really settle into her story and style. But overall it's a great series.

You're not heartless, Honor, that episode does suck. Maybe if we'd spent some time with Isobel her death would've been more meaningful. The only thing that struck a chord with me during that scene was the fact that Elena was having to watch a woman burn to death and how horrifying that must've been for her. Otherwise: meh.
 
Every conversation between EE is a metaphorical dance tbh ;)

The hiatus has been absolutely crushing for my ship, but let's hope TVD wakes up and gives us something to go on. Won't be long until TVD is back on now, but they better bring Elijah!

I think it's more than that, because DG would have explained it during the VRO interview. But when asked about it, he said he has theory but doesn't want to disclose that info. Means it must be more important for the plot than a simpe character trait. :shrug:
