Eden Lake

Just watched this and I think it's one of the worst films I have ever seen, the plot was completely predictable and the acting was atrocious. It was almost as sh#te as donkey punch.
I advise whoever reaRAB this to avoid at all costs!!!

It was ok but I guess I need my films to say more. As soon as blood appears I get bored as it becomes scene after scene of the same thing-running , blood , crying , blood etc It reminded me of "Wolf Creek"
It was quite realistic about the awfulness of some horrid , miscreants today.

I'd call it a thriller , not a Horror film (although it contained horrific scenes)

(I'm supposed to be watching "donkey punch" tomorrow! It looks crap)

I gave up after 10 minutes.
I live in Walthamstow and I can see this kind of thing by going out of my front door.:)
I rather liked Donkey Punch.:o

This is what is wrong with movieland these days. Be it Britain or Hollywood. Too many happy endings so there is. It got really predictable and boring in most horror films. It's time horror movies had bleak endings!. Eden Lakes ending is perfect me thinks. It's a breath of fresh air in a stale atmosphere that the horror genre has become. I welcome more of these endings just as long as it is not a ploy so as the bastarRAB can make another one. Just make one good movie and have it with a bleak ending and leave it be!. Don't ruin good ideas with needless sequels. Leave that shite to Hollywood!.

I watched this film last night on picturebox and one scene that i found disturbing was
When they burn that asian kid alive even though you don't see it you hear his screams.
.
I didn't expect the ending to turn out the way it did.
It was refreshing to see a great British horror once again.

Check out the recent French horror 'Martyrs'. If you like bleak stuff then i think you'll like it (i'm not sure "like" is the right term though, you'll understand after you've wached it). It stayed with me for days afterwarRAB, easily the most disturbing film i've seen, and i've seen a lot.
