Eden Lake

Surprised you didn't like Donkey Punch if You liked Eden Lake, though I would say Eden Lake was much more believeable and original

Watched Eden Lake a few months ago and I've been dying for my friend at work to watch it too. We both like our horror/sick films and when she finally did see Eden Lake she said she was quite shocked about how brutal is was.

I thought it was a great film, one of those situations where it could easily happen in reality. Being set in England gave it that even more realistic edge.

I found the end of the film very shocking - its a film thats stayed with me long after viewing.

I just found out today that a friend of mine at work is good frienRAB with the main character, who is now in skins. Apparently he's a perfectly nice guy in real life, pfffft. Scariest guy ever in this film.

I'd have to watch it again to write down all the 'eh?' parts, but there were quite a few for me.
Things like the man entering the boy's house. The location of the girl crashing. The necklacing. Small glitches if you like, but annoying to me.

A good film, but I wouldn't go anywhere near brilliant.

Eden Lake is a movie well worth watching if your not a little baby that is easily upset.

It's a shame about Kelly's character. I was hoping she'd survive. But it was not to be sadly. I think that was a nice shock for me with the way things turned out. Good ending to a good movie. Not this typical mainstream Hollywood shit style of ending we're used to.

IMO Eden Lake is what The Strangers should have been.

I've heard quite a few people talk to me about it, their reaction to the film indicates to me that it's brilliant for what its intentions are.
