hehehehehe, i so want to get a black E50 right now

to tell you the truth, black does not look as good in pics compared to the white. but then again the E50 does not look good in photos in general. so for all we know it may look uber sexy in real life.

i wish they come out with a FW upgrade to see how much better they can make this phone. only complaint i have so far is that Application Manager takes long to come up but that could also be because it takes longer to scan my almost full 1gb TF card and all the apps i have installed in it.

Theres been allot of talk about crackling noise in the earpiece during calls. Have any of you experienced that?

i did once last weekend, but i was on a BT headset so i can't say if it was the phone or the headset. but that was the first time in almost 4 weeks since i had the phone.
maybe it is due to some kind of interference like being close to something thats giving out EMI and the E50 is not filtering it out properly. but who knows.
maybe a FW update can fix it.

apparently it happens with some N73 as well.

none yet. just the one it came with for now. may not have one for a little while yet since there are no major issues on the phone.

The e61/62 are the best phones for its class in the mobile phone world. The n80 is a completly differnet beast. The e50 is behind the times. It has fewer tricks up its sleeve than the 6620.

I've only had my E50 for about a week, but I havent noticed any crackling at all. Although I havent used it with a BT head set yet.

I have already locked on E50
I just need a basic S60 with quad-band 2G, and EDGE modem (with be tethered)
currently E61 and N80 3G can't be used in US (no 1700)
E50 is more than ideal (and I can use BL-6C on it for extended hours)
too bad all 3 S60 don't have a2dp support (I don't want blueplayer, it's junk!)

err, i think you got that wrong, E61 is using magnesium alloy
