my first bike is gonna be 848 2009. the dealer quote me $15000 OTD. i don't know if it is good deal ? should i ask for more discount or it is it.

I would say that is a good deal since the MSRP is $13,995. You figure about $800 for freight and setup and then you have taxes, license.... Try to look for an 08 and you might be able to negotiate it down a few hundred or so.

Well, you won't able to find much deals on Ducati. But if you try harder you might able to buy on MSRP which is $13,995. Also depends if paying cash or financing.

they actually get a kick back when you finance. believe it.

$15k for a 848??
I just got a 1098 for $16000...

I agree with 64Galaxie.. '08 and 09 have no differnce...

plus.. really... who's dropping 15-20K for a bike these days? the dealers should be happy they have passionate riders like us buying Italian motorcycles.

I'm sure you can squeeze a deal.

or go on for resales... I bet you you can find a 848 for 10grand

way to high at $15,000. Find another dealer. Knock off $1000. No freight/set up. They can be found. do not settle!!!

What state you in?

He's right...don't settle..for price only. Sure it's great if you can get a few hundred more off, but really, what you need is a dealer you can count on. A good relationship with your dealer, IMHO, is worth more than a few bucks in your pocket. As an example, I didn't try to find the lowest price, I went to the dealer from which I felt most comfortable buying. Since then they have taken care of me in many ways probably saving me more coin in the long run than I could have saved on the initial deal.

No I don't work for a dealer. Just a counter point.

bellissima.

but you're crazy.. $15K???

cmooon

I paid $16K otd here in NYC for my 1098 when I traded in my 848
maybe it's because I was trading and maybe it's because I dropped more than $50k in that dam shop in the last 3 years

maybe
