dual voice coil 4 ohm speaker and a 2 ohm 2 channel amplifier ?

the amp is bridgeable. If I wire the speaker in seris will i drop it's ohm rating to 2 ohm ? and when i bridge the two channels of the 2 ohm amp will this drop it to 1 ohm? what is the best wiring for maximum perfprmance ?

the amp is an esx vision v 800.2
the sub is a dual voice coil kicker l5 12" sub
