it's weird that the oscars have that rule and that the grammies, which are actually about music, don't..unless they do and i just didn't know lol
 
^^^ Yeah the Oscars have a new 3 songwriter rule since back in 2003 everyone and their mom went up for Shrek's Accidently in Love:rolleyes:

I don't see how it took like 10+ people to write THAT song:rolleyes:

as of dec. 26th the movie has made $15,378,852 domestic
( black christmas has made $5,083,000 domestic to compare). i think it will get #2 based on right now. I did some quick math and unless i messed up Dreamgirls has made around 10million less than NATM since christmas
 
I loved the Oprah episode. The way they had it set up was great lol. And i loved seeing some scenes. And I loved Jennifer's reaction when she saw how crazy the audience went over her.
 
I'm so looking forward to this movie. I have been for awhile now. I've listened to the soundtrack so many times on itunes and I love it. Jennifer Hudson's vocals are amazing, and I'm glad she didn't win American Idol because she probably wouldn't have been able to do this movie. From the trailers and the soundtrack it looks like Beyoncé is going to holing her own.

I do think the movie will be really good. I just hope I'm not disapointed.
 
she isn't? i thought she was, but she was the last name listed so that means that she didn't do a lot lol...maybe they took her off so it could get nominated lol, cuz she's listed in the soundtrack book
 
I found out Beyonce will perform on the Today show, Dec. 5(same day th esoundtrack is out!!!!) and a week later on the 12th Jennifer will perform on the show

and if either of them wins their GG i'll be happy, since it's usually a good indicator of the oscars lol
 
Yeah i've heard the 22nd, and the 15th..lol they need to make up their minds lol

i can't wait for the soundtrack. I'm so happy they put "listen" as a bonus track on beyonce's album. I play it over and over lol
