Yeah, Sabat may have been overused in the first half of the series, but at least his voices are different enough that it's not always GLARINGLY obvious it's the same guy.

Wasted Wisher is telling us that episode 12 might very well be the episode in which Nappa is killed (or rather, at least get's the poop knocked out of him by Son).

I wouldn't quite call it "Kiddy Shows". The two shows above Dragon Ball Kai are Family Shows that attract a wide variety of demographs. Although, admittingly, how close DBK was to those other shows is pretty interesting. The real test will be to see if the ratings will hold up to weeks to come.
 
I think it's because not only is it cheaper to resuse the existing footage but they also may feel that the existing footage is classic and is good enough. I personally would have loved if they had reanimated the entire show, though.
 
I hope Toei will make a Dragon Ball and One Piece crossover TV special. Kinda like with Lupin and Conan. I could almost see it happening since Toei loves to promote the 2 series together.
 
But it's still there.

And for doing that overused meme again... I hope your body can take it, since the whole universe is going to die.
