Drag me to Hell

I saw the ad for it and thought it looked crap, but saw the good reviews so went to the barras and bought it i must admit i thought it was really good! The horrors you see these days are crap but i liked this one. i'd give it 4/5 for a horror anyway, coz the horrors ive saw in the last couple of years are laughable!

Mind my mum telling me when the Exorcist came out everyone was screaming in the pics terrified! wish i was about in they days!

Oh my God! Went to see it. I seriously nearly soiled my knickers!

Was really scary I thought lol. Right at the end .. oh dear it was disgusting! The skin!

You should have seen me when I walked out! Salsa sauce on my tit & popcorn stuck to my hair! All that screaming, I'm surprised I wasn't dragged to hell.

Go see it.

I went to watch it last night and LOVED it...!

Very jumpy in parts (especially in some scenes where you're not expecting it at all) and also very funny too. The 'eyes' part had me laughing - very cartoon slapstick!

And yes, I was also nearly in need of a trouser change! :D

Plus, Alison Lohman (Christine) is very pleasing to the eyes... ;)

Well worth watching in my opinion.

Just saw it, thought it was pretty good, and fairly similar in tone to Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness (although not as good imo). I was hoping for a Bruce Campbell cameo!

2 of my frienRAB hated it though, i think they totally missed the point of it as they asked me "is this film ever going to take itself seriously?" about 5 minutes from the end...

The medium possession and talking goat bit was absolutely hilarious! When the possessed guy started "air-dancing" above the table i was in stitches!

Well worth watching, just make sure you know what you're in for before you see it!

And i agree with the previous poster, Alison Lohman is possibly the cutest thing on the planet;)

She only refused because her boss had told her that she needed to show a bit of backbone in order to be eligible for the Assistant Manager position. She felt that refusing this old womans claim would show that she could handle tough decisions.

I dont think she had to give the old lady an extension anyway. The old lady had places she could go if she got kicked out, it wasn't like she was throwing her out on the street. I read a review where it said you wanted Christine to get her comeuppance but I really didn't think she deserved any of it

I'd be interested to hear exactly what it was you were looking forward too.

I was expecting something pretty grotesque that made me jump out of my skin on at least five occaisions and laugh like an idiot on at least ten:

I wasn't disappointed.

Like any good horror film that isn't taking itself too seriously you can see just about every part of the story coming from a mile away, if you can cope with that then I can't see what's not to enjoy...

I'm a big fan of Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert films/collaborations.

I LOVED the fact that I was in a cinema, everyone was jumping, screaming and laughing at the same time. Some scenes were horrendous to see, I read that the Raimi brothers were trying to out gross each other in the script. I'd rather not spoil the film for anyone wanting to see it, but it's a good laugh.

I saw it on my own and it was very, very creepy. Cool film but not for the faint hearted!

LOVED this, just come back from seeing it and after the dissapointments in films the recent years of the horror variety this was a great change!

I wouldn't call it a 'classic' but it's certainly one of the better films out there ATM/has been released in ages.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, made me jump loaRAB which is something that is quite hard to do :)

Saw this last night. I dont think i have ever laughed so much at the cinima. I really enjoyed the film. If you dont take the film to serouisly its great.

i was actually going to start a thread about this film .
but here we are so -
this is the biggest collection of cliches and ham acting episodes your ever likely to see
if screeching makes you scared then go for it because theres little else to be scared at .
whoever made this trash should be banned from filmaking ,its that bad .
honestly guys scares and laughs are non existent dont waste your cash .

Thanks but no thanks.

I would rather watch [again] the movie Last of the Living as it is a great little movie. And made for the sum of fifty pounRAB LOL well it was way more than that. I think the guys that made Last of the Living, if they had a bigger budget, the movie would be very interesting to view considering how the outcome of LOTL appeared with the budget it had. These guys seem to know how to make the money work for them.

By the way. Sam Sellout Raimi is crap now. He is nothing more than a shadow of his former self. And as Bruce Campbell put it himself one time: So you want to see an Evil Dead 4? then you'll need to drag Sam away from Spider Man. Raimi forgets where he came from.

Sam Raimi should look at the lyrics to Rob Halford's song Resurrection and then take a good long hard look at what he has done recently. Then start making things right. And as the lyrics from that song stated: The piece of mind I thought was lost, was right infront of me on paths I've crossed.

People want an Evil Dead 4. It's time to give them what they want. I just hope that if ED4 arrives it is inline with the first two as Army of Darkness is SHIT.

I loved Drag Me to Hell. I wasn't really expecting to like it, good modern horror films are sooooo hard to come by, but it was so funny and had lots of jumpy moments. The fight scene in the car was hilarious :D
