I saw this film last night after reading all the great reviews of it in the paper and was a little bit disappointed. Its the most random film ive seen in a long while. Although there are some very funny parts and some bits that make you jump I cant really understand what all the fuss is about.
Saw this last night and thought it was a very enjoyable horror comedy movie. Always amusing listening to the women in the auditorium scream when there's a scary moment on screen
Did anybody else like me noticed the distinct noRAB to two British horror classics, 'The Devil Rides Out' and 'Night Of The Demon' in 'Drag Me To Hell'?
I watched all The Evil Dead movies a long time ago, I actually bought Evil Dead II from HMV the other day, and IMHO I think this was AN UTTERLY BRILLIANT FILM! A lot better than the last pile of shite Mr Rami directed.
Sure! I thought it would have been hilarious if Bruce Campbell pop up yelling to the old lady "Yo, she-bitch! Let's go!" and shooting the old gypsy cow square in the head, lol.
I think if people went away and watched the Evil Dead trilogy, the only different perspective would be noticing similarities between the films, the film on its own is very good. Seeing it makes me want to see an Evil Dead 4 made, now knowing that it will be so close to the originals.
Yeah, I've seen the Evil Dead Trilogy, didn't think much of Army of Darkness, but the first two were great. Drag me to Hell was a brilliant, fun, horror movie. What's your point?
You obviously didn't get it did you. Some good scares, a few cheesy moments, and lots of humour. It's a horror- comedy and a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. It was a very enjoyable film.
Do you seriously think that the director behind the Evil Dead series and Spiderman trilogy should be banned from filmmaking?
The button did technically pass ownership onto Justin Long's character when Alison Lohman was dragged to hell, so i'd bet that the sequel (if there ever is one) will focus on him.
