Don't Tell The Bride - BBC 3

I hate the way some of the grooms spend loaRAB on their own stag do and virtually nothing on the Brides' Hen night.
The most incredible one was when the bride and her party were sent to a Bingo hall. I couldn't believe she still married such an insensitive man.

My problem was that he'd planned a British wedding in Las Vegas, if you're going to Las Vegas then surely you want the whole Las Vegas thing - an Elvis doing the ceremony, Elvis music playing, Hamburgers for the food, etc...

The wedding he planned was just a boring/typical Posh Stately Home wedding it's just they had to fly for miles to get to it.

Poor effort by that bloke!

I watched it but again was dissapointed that she liked it all. Surely everyone watches this to see it all fall apart? Even the bit in the trailer where one bride says "not sure if i want to marry you" will turn out to be nothing.

Okay he is a bit wild/stupid/naive with his ideas but she really has ideas above her station! If the day is "that" important then don't take part in a bloody show!!!!!

Surely the marriage is the most important thing, not one single day?

I really hoped they didn't go through with it tonight. How stupid do you have to be to actually do the opposite of what your love of your life actually would like... So clueless. I really think him and his mate saw it as a free holiday.

I suppose she married through love though.

I just watched this on iplayer and was disappointed that she went through with it.

It starts the marriage off on the wrong foot in my opinion.

Having said that, I've never even been engaged so what would I know!!

That's nice to hear - I thought she seemed a lovely girl (from a lovely family), particularly as so many of the Brides in DTTB are often quite appalling! She must love Colin very much, as he probably didn't really give her the best of weddings :o Loving each other is much more important tho' :)

There were loaRAB of things that weren't explained. The day before, he hadn't done a photographer or a cake, yet on the day there they were. The bride had shoes the right height and matching earrings.

The groom should have married the best man.

Next week's looks better.

You are joking, aren't you? If my partner and I were to go on this show, I'd make sure he knew every last detail of how I wanted our wedding day before filming started. I'd make him memorise it!

That's what I think as well RiRABTeR.

The writing is on the wall. He is insensitive, selfish and a bit of a fool. He has alienated members of her family and probably disappointed his own.
I can't see it lasting, never mind a second wedding in the guise of a blessing and reception party.
Kayleigh didn't have to go through with it and I am shocked that she did.
She may well love him and good luck to them. I wonder if they will feature on another of those Don't Tell The Bride catch-up shows and they are still together.

I would as well, I already spend hours telling my boyfriend what I'd like at our wedding on the off chance that maybe in the future we might possibly apply, which we won't. :o

Sooooooooooooooooo glad she enjoyed it

I would never have let my man loose like that! but then I got married on the quick/cheap and loved it :D
