Why do pagans think that they have the exclusive right to a holiday? Don't cultures borrow or are influenced by practices and traditions that they are familiar with.

I don't get this Christians stole a holiday perception. Especially since no one lives in a closed society.

How the who do you steal a holiday? And who is wronged?
I wonder if Italians think Americans stole pizza from them/.
