you're missing the point. my gut reaction would probably not even give me time to think about who the best shot was, I already said that. Assuming I did think about it, I probably wouldn't even know who the best shot in the unit was, just the best shot out of a couple people I associated with the most
 
Name one justifiable reason for expulsion of someone based on natural sexual orientation.
 
If you need to tell it, you must be amazed that someone would even consider smoking your rope. And you probably paid them for the service.
 
yeah, actually. we already force feed racial equality and equal opportunity for females, this is just one more briefing to sit through every quarter
 
there is a difference between simply having a personal opinion and codifying that personal opinion into rules and regulations which discriminate against others.
 
i'm pretty sure he is referring to completing PT within the standards, which are the same for everyone. (except women)
 
a private military force can do whatever it wants. a public military implies public ownership. I'm well within my rights to influence policy making when it affects a public service in which I have ownership
 
i love this "the gays will be a distraction" argument ... mostly because it is basically a direct regurgitation of the argument back in the day for segregating white and black soldiers into separate units.

So after our military was integrated with whites and blacks fighting side by side in the same units, did everything fall apart? Did our white soldiers suddenly forget to fight the enemy because they were too busy staring at all the coons? Did our black soldiers get so caught up in being stuck with a bunch of honkeys that they suddenly forgot how to fire their guns?

No. Everyone got used to each other because they had to, and our military went on about its business.
 
i hate people who brag about their sexual conquests, because 9 times out of 10 you can tell they're lying.
 
I've been to the tomb. The experience wouldn't have been changed in the slightest if the honor guard were 5'7" or 6'5".

And if that WOULD change your experience and your ability to honor the unknown soldier, then you don't deserve to be in the presence of the tomb to begin with.
