Does weight-lifting and protein powder stunt your growth?

I just turned fifteen and I am a freshmen in high school. I've been weight lifting and I was wondering if I've been stunting my growth. I've looked into protein powder but I'm not too serious about it yet. I want to get big so I can make varsity baseball next year and my coach says I just need to hit the ball hard.

I am 5' 7'' and weigh about 125-130 (last time I weighed was one month ago)
My dad is 6 foot exactly and my mom is about 5' 3''.
I feel like I have a lot of growing to go since I am not fully done with puberty (barely getting any armpit hair maybe like three or four per side haha) but I still want to grow really tall!
Can someone please explain please thanks :)

It is not recommended lifting weights under the age of 16 - to give your muscles time to fully develop. You cannot enlarge muscles that have not completely developed yet - or you could do more harm than good.

weightliftig is normally done to increase the body posture....
it stops the growth of height
and if you really want to grow tall you should stop wight lifting and move along with dips and it will not lead to decrease in your body posture...
take a balanced diet....and a propersllep in a right posture...

trust me weightlifting does not stunt your growth. im 17 and ive been doing it since 7th grade when i played football. Now im in wrestling. and im taller than both of my parents. And protein shakes wont harm you either in growth. infact they will put growth hormones into you to make you get buff and bigger. So it doesnt stunt you growth.

However, like the other guy said. it is true that it is not recommended to start working out at such a young age, but hey, why not get ahead of they game? right?

its a common myth that weightlifting stunts growth it does not, if anything it helps your body produce more HGH and I don't think protien powder would effect your growth, and I don't think your into steroids but I know steroids would.
