proficiency? I have been accepted to Cal State Los Angeles and UC Riverside, both of which offer Asian Studies as my intended major. However, I notice that I only find online that Cal State Los Angeles additionally offers a certificate in Korean language proficiency. UC Riverside seems to offer the same extensive language classes, but I do not see that they offer the same. I would prefer the additional language certification, but am leery about commuting 50 miles twice a week for the next two years just to be able to do so.
