Does the Dominican Republic have the most anti-African culture of all Latin America?

It seems that way to me. Out of all the Latino countries with a large African influence, DR seems to be the one that is most in denial. Most of the Dominicans I know (and especially the black ones) are anti-black and deny African heritage. I see it all the time.

It's not like that among the Cubans. Cubans recognize the African influence and even have Santeria. Not even Puerto Ricans deny African heritage as much as DR.

So why is this?
Do you think the effects of Trujillo's regime will ever subside from the Dominican consciousness?
 
Well alot of african came to DR, PR and Cuba to work and the ones who stayed ended up mixing with other cultures, look at there skin, they cant deny it..
