does sex have any spirituality/meaning in our culture.?

In the Catholic Church, sex in marriage has a deep spiritual meaning and is part of the sacrament of marriage.

Sex has no meaning other than aiming for procreation and survival of the species, either in or out of the spiritual realm.Well, for human beings it`s also used for recreationnal purpose, but whatever. It` s still has no meaning.Enough said.

sex is the most beautiful thing when you love someone and it actually means something

In what culture are you talking about? American, Australian, British..or anywhere else people on these forums could be from?
Sex, you do it for the kids. End of meaning.

sex is a great thing if you are married and in love with your spouse, the bible says that a married man and women should not hold out on sex with ech other

well...do u know that apart from penguins, humans are the only mammals known to have sex for pleasure...lol - li'l trivia for ya!
it's true..ha ha

back to the question...hmmm, of course sex has a meaning more than pleasure... it is either the greatest creation of god(for agnostics) OR the greatest discovery of mankind(for atheists).

Obviously it doesn't, sex is being abused with porn and other things.
it really just depends on the person, people have different opinions and religious beliefs about it.

Beyond reproduction, I see it as a pretty intimate experience. I can be all dolled up and attract many suitors, but when it comes to sex (which I assume to be done in the nude with the lights on) I'll have nothing (literally and figuratively). No makeup, fashionable clothes, or other enhancements. It'll just be me and it'll just be that person. I don't want to take the act of presenting myself in that way doing such intimate things lightly.
