Kalashnikov culture: Sudden increase of firearms in Pakistan due to the arms trafficking from Afghanistan during and after the Soviet Afghan war.

In Middle East, the Kalashnikov culture does not necessarily have to be referred to the Arms Trafficking, but rather to increase in People owning Arms. Because smuggling in Middle east is quite difficult.
Zubayr: In Pakistan Every second Home has a gun, In MOST middle east countries I don't think that's the case.

well i dunno about the rest of the mid east...but i know in yemen every household has an AK-47 for protection

I always say to my father that we should keep a gun with us, but he says it will only invite trouble instead of keeping it away
