I belong to North region and my boy friend is from South of India. We want to get married with our parents permission...till now we are not able to tell about our relation in our homes...we are scared of their reaction...time while there is lot of pressure onto my bf to get married with a girl who belong to south....our parents trust a lot on us....The +ve thing is only that we both are in job and can take resposibility...Not sure what will happened if our parents get to know about this relationship...

culture difference does matters in a marriage, but both partners has to respect each others culture, both have to be willing to give on some things.... it is hard but it can be done...

I don't imagine it will make a difference between you and your boy friend. However, I have a strong feeling it will matter greatly to the parents of both you and your boyfriend...... Good Luck...♥♥

Since you both have jobs and your own money, leave your country and go get married somewhere with less rules and restrictions. Sometimes bringing your families to facts they can't do anything about anymore is a good thing, they will have to accept it. (I hope.) Good luck,
