Hello all. I recently bought an Scion Xb 2009, and the stock speakers suck!

I wanted to get some bass in my little milk truck. I am really confused about amps, subwoofers, tweeters, etc... I was thinkiong of getting subwoofer, not sure what kind and where I would put it (possibly under the front seats./ My question is with the subwoofer speakers do I need an amp? Does Some subwoofer speakers already come with amps? Where can the amp be put? Thanks!
So with JUST an amp, I can use regular ole speakers I dont need subwoofers? See this stuff gets confusing for me, so bare with me....

simply put, amps are used to make your music louder, subwoofers are made for more bass, and tweeters are made for more vocals, you can run speaker wire straight to your subs or tweeters but that would be the same as using a normal speaker, to get the effects of your subs or tweeters, you have to buy an amp, most subs dont come with amps but there are a few that do, amps can be put anywhere in your car (under a seat, on the back of a seat, on the sealing, on the floor anywhere, etc.) after you get the amp put in where you want it, just run the speaker wire for the subs, from the amp, to the subs, you can use as much as you need to
