Do you think you know more about politics if you are less educated?

There's a big difference between being told about politics at school and experiencing it in the workplace, it's when it affects ones personal lives that the impact of a decision hits home. Seems that a lot of people on here haven't felt the effects of it all yet.

President Obama was considered too Conservative at Harvard in 1990, I wonder what happened.

Although some question what personal goals motivate Obama, his interest in social issues is deeply grounded.
 
Informed, intelligent, and educated aren't the same things. It's easy to see that many politicians are educated way past their intelligence.
 
Yes, those who are educated seem to understand the Facts and can read between the lines of the lies our politicians try to give us!
Those that are somewhat less educated think they are "sexual intellectuals"(f**kin know it alls) and can only hear and see what the politicians tell them what they want to hear!!! They put blind trust in them, believe every word they say and think the politicians have all the knowledge of what it best for the American Public!
Sorry to burst your bubbles, politicians are only in this for themselves and if you think any different, better enlighten yourselves with MORE information!!

Wake Up America before it's tooo late!!
 
I think that the more education you have, the more you actually know about politics. However, the less education you have, the more you think you know about politics. That is why we have such morons posting on here.
 
Educated people are often naive and believe government works the way it should instead of the way it does so it isn't really much help in understanding politics. However knowing something about the past either from memory or books keeps people from sounding clueless.
 
Im educated Id say and naturally Im to the left of the spectrum. Education leads to forward thinking not staying stuck in the past!
 
It depends on your educational background, mine is in electronics and computers, that would hardly qualify me as a political expert, and I won't claim to be one.

I have no problem dealing with educated people, it's the people who have to constantly remind us of how smart they are that get to be annoying.
 
The fact is that education is a lot like cable TV. There are a million channels, but only a couple really worth watching. How many degrees a person has does not impress me at all. I love education, but there is a trade off between "pie in the sky" theory and "rubber hits the road" practicality. It seems the more educated a person becomes, the more self important they become, and they wander off into the realm of elitism because they think they are better than everybody else. Character and compassion rule the day in the end, and you shouldn't need a piece of paper to feel validated in life. Be a good person and love each other. What other stuff you cram into your brain is fine as long as it doesn't take away from that.
