...native language? Or do you think they should be deported along with their parents?
Thats what is actually happening in many American cities.

No i think we should teach our kids, respect, common sense and logic along with some decent knowledge in our political system and how it really works ... this would save so much time and make this Yahoo politic section a lot more interesting and less childish.

No, I think we should allow the country from which they came, or better yet - ship them somewhere else in the world, drop them off, and let that country pay to educate them.

No...They learn English rapidly and then can help and teach their parents. What you are suggesting was tried in California, it did not work.

No.

Anyone who comes here illegally, regardless of their country of origin, should be deported along with the rest of their family.

There are people from all over the world who want to come to the US, but they don't have the luxury of running across our border and every year many of these people get turned away because illegal aliens take up too much of our governments time and resources.

Students in the US should be taught in English.

If the students are illegal aliens then they should be deported with their parents. If they were born here, however they are US citizens.

That being said, if their parents are not allowed to stay in the country, then the child should be allowed to leave along with his parents and he can return to the US when he is old enough to support himself. In no case should his parents be allowed to stay on the basis that their child is a US citizen.

Remember, a right to live in the US should not be confused with an entitlement to live in the US. A US citizen also has a right to keep and bear arms, but that doesn't mean the government has to buy him a gun. Similarly, a child may have a right to live in the US but if he does not have the ability to live in the US on his own then the US is under no obligation to allow his non-US parents to stay in order for him to take advantage of his right to live in the US.
