I don't know why it's so hard to take a picture of a Christmas tree! I promise that my tree looks better than this IRL.

Usually, though not excessively. That'll probably change now I'm a mum though, especially when she's older and get's Christmas a bit more :D

That is so cute!

...I was just about to give up any hope of doing more decorating because the Christmas boxes were on a shelf very high up in my workshop where my handyman (who has since quit working for me) put them, and I couldn't get them down by myself.

But today a neighbor stopped to chat with me while I was at the mailbox and I happened to mention the boxes, so he got them down for me! :yay: Oddly this was right after I had been praying about what I should do about the boxes.

People are really very kind. And God listens even when it's about something small.

I've been having fun the past hour or so decorating all over the house, and I was glad to put the Christmas Kitty on my cat's favorite chair near the hearth.

 I do. I've had my tree in my room up since mid-November, as well as my room decorated.

I've just put a two foot tall 'climbing santa' puppet hanging out on my front balcony, a bit like this one

I was gonna keep my pretty autumn leaves decoration up until December but somehow I managed to give the leaves away yesterday to someone who needed them to decorate a church altar.

Oh well. I'll have to put something else on the hearth until it's time to decorate for Christmas.

Tree and decorations are up, it took all afternoon and I am knackered now. :thud: But the place looks lovely so it was worth the effort.

I like to decorate for Christmas mostly. I recently put up the Christmas tree and decorated the kitchen and living room window.

This is my new decoration. :D

I put my tree up last week and helped do my Grandma's tree, too. I'll probably put my mom's up this weekend :D

It takes me three to four days to get the pre-decoration done. That everything but the outside lights and trees. I usually like to start the first weekend so it's up all month.

That wreath is beautiful!! I have already started my christmas decorating!!! I just can't resist...it is my favorite holiday! I put my tree up yesterday and have done a few little things, but I probably won't do the rest until next weekend or so!!

Lem, I like that raincoat your stuffed cat is wearing. Lately, I find myself always admiring raincoats worn by stuffed animals and dogs. This may be a sign that there is something wrong with me.
