Do You Decorate For Holidays?

We're putting our tree and decorations up tomorrow. :D It's hard work, but looks great when it's all done.
 
I'll have to post pics of my Halloween decorations... not much, but they're cute :)

I hung up my Christmas wreath today. A friend made it for me. :glow:

I'm putting up my tree on the 24th. I have a cat who is so destructive (but cute) and my tree always has lots of shiny things on that she just can't resist pouncing on. It will be a 48 hour tree, coming down on Boxing day :lol:
 
My mom said, she can help my roomate and I decorate our apartment for Christmas. She would bring down some old stuff that isn't being used by her or my grandmother. I told her, It's okay mom. It's little bit early to talk about Christmas. Later, my roomate asked me about it. I told her, we are doing it anyways. It's for our families.

:hug: Thanks. I tried taking picture facing away from the window today but it still looked odd.

....and it's also not-sp-easy getting a picture of candles. :lol: But here's what I came up with after I decorated my buffet with a collection of odd crystal candleholders that I've been collecting this year (it would have looked better with white candles but I used the red and green ones that I already had so I could save money):

I always decorate for Christmas because it's such a cheerful holiday and can warm up your heart. I can't wait to put up my Christmas tree again this year!
 
Awww, Lem, your house looks so nice! I haven't ever decorated for fall, though I do decorate with some of the "cheesy" Halloween stuff :lol: Lighted pumpkins in the window, etc :)

And I go all out for Christmas with the tree and stuff :)
 
I've put up paper Halloween masks with twizzle spiral tales that turn in the wind, and on Halloween night I always have a scooped out pumpkin outside somwhere
