Do you care about the BP oil spill?

only reason I care is because it affects shrimp prices and the fact that BP will only get a slap on the wrist.
 
Yes, and if I could take the time off school/work to help with the clean up, I would. Unfortunately I would lose my job.

because he put his fucking nose in economics and health care. he didn't know jackshit about them either.

at least with this he could provide the means to help BP fix it.
 
To be honest I'm suprised Obama hasn't been more on top of this as he hates us Brits and our colonial past, he still has his panties in a bunch from his grandfather.
 
I care a great deal. I live on an island in the oil's possible path. I am going to be really sad if my stomping grounds are affected. I live here because of this beautiful ocean.
 
Absolutely. Its one of the most significant ecological disasters we're facing and will have real impacts to our country.
 
expansion and upgrade of our power grid, along with increased generation though nuclear power would reduce the reliance on coal and natural gas generation, reduce carbon emissions greatly, provide an incentive for quicker development of electric vehicles, but most importantly it would also make power cheaper and possibly eliminate the other reasons to drill for oil, such as for home heating, boiler operation, and industry.
 
I just know theres a huge oil leak destroying the eco system in the gulf of mexico. Im sure they meant well but please patch and clean it up and dont do it again
 
I care, since the vast majority of sea food we eat in this part of the country is from the gulf.
