unless your beemer had a factory sub you'll want to add an amp. that amp is designed for a full range and will send high tones to your sub and will sound like crap.

no you don't you can wire it just like that but ill tell you what it will sound like crap cuz you will be getting voice and distortion out that sub.it will sound really good if u put a amp.don't really need nothing big just a lil something to get Straight bass out of it.
