do 2 8 inch pioneer shallow mount subs make as much bass as 1 regular 12" sub? or...

...better or not as much? im wanting to get two 8" pioneer shallow mount subs for my truck and want an idea of how much bass it produces. i know its not gonna beat the block down but i want it too be enough to shake the rear view lol. anybody know?? thanks!!!
 
90% install, 10% equipment.

Pioneer shallow mounts will probably not give you a lot of bass, even with a ported box. You can get a high quality 12 that will even beat 2 12s. It really depends on the install, and no so much on the equipment.

For 8s that will sound very loud, try looking into the DD1508s
