Disney's Beauty & The Beast: New DVD AND possible 3D screening.

LOL You sinner! No i'm joking, tbh the mickey mouse films etc never appealed to me, it was the ones like Snow White, Pinocchio and Beauty & The Beast that did.

I am actually wondering if they havn't pushed the B&TB DVD back until 2011 now if they are doing the same with it in cinemas. I hope not, i really want to own it on DVD.
 
If I had a blu-ray player I deffo would! The one I've pre-ordered is the other version (with the same cover)-the one that has the normal version and the blu ray included.
 
Oh, skip the dvd, get the bluray if you can;)

If all goes well it should be crisp.

So far disneys previous releases have been stellar. Its like watching crisp animation cells.
Check out the difference on even an old film like sleeping beauty, a 50 year old film.

me either. this is going to be my first blu ray purchase and i think its definatly worth it. i still have the video i got as a baby although the case and cover is damaged now
 
Definitely getting this, and Dumbo too - but US BD for me, Disney have an annoying habit of omitting the original soundtracks on the UK releases.
I still have the 2002 Limited version (the one with book packaging), that must be quite rare now.
 
I can see the difference there. I don't have a blu-ray player, although i should invest it one i know.

I will deffinatly get the DVD (whatever version), it's my ultimate disney fave.
 
^ That looks a bit too snazzy. They should have just kept the original cover art.

I'm getting a HD projector to replace my HDTV so I might as well go ahead with the Blu-ray purchase - it will be like seeing it on the big screen again.
