I have this! Didn't realise it was so rare. It's my favourite film of all time so I won't be selling it!

What I don't get is.

Both 'new' editions of the DVD have the exact same description..so how do you know what one to order!? Normal or blu-ray?

the dvd was fine in that respect. i saw it in imax when that came out.
far worse for the dvd was that it was hyper compressed, there wasn't enough space on the dvd for the seamless branching and special features, but they stupidly crammed it on one disc causing pixel artfact hell. now if you had a sd tv you wouldn't notice, but on a computer screen or hdtv..bad stuff

The "DVD" Packaging version has 2 x DVRAB and 1 x BlueRay disc while the "BluRay" Packaging one has 2 x BlueRay discs and 1 x DVD. The two discs are the film & all the extras, while the single disc is just the film.

Apparently the DVD release is still 1st November in the UK but the 3D release for cinemas will be pushed back until late next year. Who knows. Not confirmed.

I had this on video (I think i may still do somewhere) and loved it! It's been called one of the best disney sequels as most disney sequels (and prequels) seemed to be pretty poor but I agree that this one was great.

I cant wait for the BD of this I've noticed with the Disney BD's though, that the UK sets tend to drop the original soundtrack (eg Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White) so I got the US sets instead.

^ Such a special film that it's been preserved in the US National Film Registry, and the only Disney film to be nominated for Best Picture.
