Ryan/Marissa - Ryan/Taylor were pretty much a worthy substitute, but still I would've preferred RM to get endgame. Marissa's death really sucked. I'm glad these two ended on a good note though. You could see how strong their connection still was in that final scene. I have no doubt that if she hadn't died these two would have gotten back together at some point. Their last scene sort of screamed that to me.
Spike/Buffy
I choose to believe Spike is alive now and that they found each other eventually because he got resurrected on Angel, but still, the finale was disappointing. After spending four seasons building up Spuffy, they suddenly decide Angel should make an appearance in the very last ep and Buffy should instantly fall for him again, when he's been absent from her life for years. It was a real headf*** for Spuffy fans.
Freddie/Effy
They had an amazing build up, but one writers decision to have him killed off in the penultimate ep in the most ridiculous and farfetched way, and introducing a brainwashing storyline for her screwed that up. :sigh: Even the other writers disagreed with the decision. They shouldn't have let that go ahead imo. It sucked.
Liam/Naomi
They had the most believeable connection on 90210 imo. He opened up to Naomi which he didn't with anyone else. But for some reason the writers decided he and Annie would suddenly have true wuv, even though they've shown to have no kind of connection whatsoever. Their get together was so random and OOC imo. Annie's character has always been bad but this pairing ruined Liam aswell who was once an awesome character. With Naomi he was the brooding bad boy who kept his heart guarded but when Liam/Annie got going he suddenly turned into some boring dope with no personality.
