Disappointed Shippers #22: When you're dreaming with a broken heart the giving up is the hardest part.

It's the worst. They were beyond adorable. They started out as angst central and when they finally got together, they were such a solid couple. Then all of that is just forgotten.

Jacky Boy is a good one  And ITA on everything. I will never understand how the writers expected us to just eat it when they erased a few years out of characters' lives and dedicated ONE episode showing them with other people and also showing how they could never be happy with these other people the way they where together. Jack/Kate had less than a zero developement on island and after that they are old as true love even though all we got from them was one episode where Kate let her engagement (btw, we never got to SEE why JK decided to get together and how they managed to overcome all the lack of trust they had on island) with Jack fall apart because of her loyalty to Sawyer and his secret. And after that we see SK bond again, however, in the end of the show, when they are all dead, Jack enRAB up with Kate, because it is HIS wet dead dream  And Sawyer/Juliet came out of nowhere and went away to nowhere because Juliet always knew it was Kate that Sawyer loved and even Sawyer couldn't deny it. Sawyer and Kate's love survived separation and passed it's test, because they always stayed by each other's side and where willing to die for each other. Them not ending up together was just a way to serve a cliche about Teh Hero getting his dream girl.

Don't know who they are but that sounRAB so sad. I hate things like that, when you like to people and wait a while for them to get together to only see them together for such a short time. I liked Wes and Fred on angel and they were so short lived. Finally got together just to have her die.

Speaking of short lived couples, Barney and Robin. They only got a handful of episodes together as a couple. Was NO where near enough for me.

It wasn't really about endgame for me either, I just wanted some final scenes between them that gave hope for the future or something. But I definitely think Cook would have been there for Effy after she found out about Freddie's death. I like to picture them on another outlaw tour of britain :sigh:

I agree about the OC too, S1 was definitely the best, every season after that got progressively worse.

Sawyer/Kate
Pacey/Andie
Rory/Jess
Puck/Rachel

:( :bawl:

 Definitely. They brought out the absolute best in each other. With Andie, Pacey wanted to become a better person, he was just so good to her, so sweet, smart. And she made him feel good about himself. She just gave him something that made him want to reach for more, for him and for her. I never saw that with anyone other than her.

And Pacey did the same for her. I love the scene with their first kiss when Andie's mad at him, but she enRAB up describing everything she likes about him. He loved her so much, and did so much for her. They have such a sweetness about them. They're so effortless, and so cute. But at the same time the depths of the love they shared was so real. They're like the most perfect, yet realistic couple you can find lol.

I am glad they weren't completely abandoned and did get closure. But I still think Pacey would have been able to forgive her eventually, you know? And I just can't believe Andie would do that in general. They never should've ended. And then S3 kinda damaged Andie's character too. I still loved her, but she wasn't the same. Then Pacey's character went downhill for me as well. They were just the best versions of themselves when they were together.

:bawl: THEY WERE SO PERFECT. They're actually one of my OTP's in general, I just love them so much. Most underrated DC couple, definitely.

Gio and Betty (ub) Had potential for some good things and they just ended it.
Daniel and Betty (ub) I love the way it ended, just wished the show could of went on a season or two more to see these two build and see them together. I guess I should of out Ugly betty/being cancelled

Jake/Peyton even though I'm an LP fan and Brucas just didn't work for me at all, I kind of had a soft spot for JP, because I thoughts their love was genuin and they really cared for each other. Too bad they where written in such way that I couldn't support their romance and they couldn't work. If only the writers had dealt with Peyton's character issuesbetter when Jake was around, if only they hadn't had to turn her into a teen desperate houswife when they where together, I could have shipped them too. Too bad OTH and good writing doesn't really match.

Christian and Satine-So sad she died :(

logan and veronica i guess, just cause every time they get together it's over in a minute flat..but i'm only in s2. i expect more disappointment tho from what i've heard

Honestly, I've always found Chuck skeevy (sorry to his fans but that's IMO) but the CB relationship did make him more tolerable to me, initially. But after the massive fail of Season 3 and 4, I could never support a self destructive relationship like that anymore. Blair has her issues, but by no means does she deserves the **** treatment she gets from him. She just becomes so weak and needy around him and I hate that.

Thanks. DB is one saving grace and shining light in the hot mess that is GG. Like I said above, was never truly on board with CB but they were well developed at one point in time so it's sad to see them disintegrate into such an awful pairing now.

Same here, I'm uneasy about where the writers will take the DB relationship or even whether they will even develop it further in Season 5. If they have decided on going full circle with the CB relationship, I hope they at least have the decency not to tamper with the DB relationship and leave it untainted as it is. :(
