Disappointed Shippers #22: When you're dreaming with a broken heart the giving up is the hardest part.

Emma Watson/long hair

I know short hair can be stylish and awesome. It's just I think long hair suits her more. It seems like a lot of young actresses these days are chopping off their hair to make the transition to adult roles.

True. :pout:

IKR? It's really messed up. :( Even as like, the biggest most obsessed with Chuck&Jenny Chenny fangirl you can find, I can still say that CB's "relationship" has become creepy & abusive.
Plus, I'm a huge Blair hater (still ship her with people, though.), and I can still say that.

-------
My top 3 disappointments, at the moment:

As always. Chuck/Jenny. My OTP! I miss them like crazy! :bawl:

Also as always. Quinn/Puck. They. Had. A. BABY! He said he loves her! :bawl:

Kitty/Bobby. So cute. Their only kiss got turned into a deleted scene. :pout:
The movie didn't end with them. I'm not surprised, though.

That's probably the most disturbing thing about it, that the writers who have developed these characters for so many years now ... see nothing wrong in such a blatantly abusive relationship and even romanticize it. :(

This. It was so OOC of him to propose, especially when two episodes before he was telling her she should go with her heart and he'd factor her in.

Good to know I'm not the only one. And it's probably better that way, at least you know there are 4 or 5 seasons behind you can go back to, rather than reaching the second season and finding out it was the last one.

This so much. I like some aspects of both PJo and DJo (though with DJo it hardly goes beyond s1), but Joey being a part of those ships guaranteed that I wouldn't ship either hardcore. All the sweetness I can't resist in PJo comes from what Pacey says and does, not her. I definitely don't get her appeal to all the male characters either. I liked her initially, but then she became too much of a Mary Sue for me.

I completely agree with you on this. I enjoyed a lot of LP in s5 and s6, but those seasons also messed up a lot of things I loved about this couple.

Oh dear, those people are really... interesting. They can't decide whether it would seem more provocative if they killed him or not, I guess

This. Their break-ups and reunions stopped making sense early during the show.

I always liked the way Daniel/Betty ended because it was a new beginning for them and Daniel actually realized he had feelings for her and he matured enough to fight for her love (he even left everything he had to go for Betty). But I would have loved to see more of them and to see their relationship evolving into something more than they where.

And Betty/Gio deserved some real chance, even though my endgame ship on UB was Daniel/Betty, but I would have loved to see more of Betty/Gio.

Rachel/Joey

Cordelia/Angel

Bella/Jacob (I used to hate Bella/Jacob, but that's before I read Eclipse the whole way through and realized his character was purposefully turned into a jerk to make E/B seem better by comparison.)

Rory/Jess
Luke/Lorelai
(the last two seasons sucked for them, even if they did end up together)

Jackie/Hyde

Puck/Quinn (WTF were they this season and what about the baby? :rant)

JT/Liberty
Ryan/Marissa

:bawl::broken_heart::bawl::broken_heart::bawl:

Snape/Lily

Sam/Meg

Luke&Lorelai: I hated how they were handled in the last two seasons of the show, the ended up in the same place they started except with more emotional baggage and trust issues. I mean, how great would it have been if we had actually seen them get married and start a life together. Watching these complete opposites trying to meld two distinct lives would have been pretty amazing. I'm still heartbroken over their wasted potential.

Chuck&Blair: these two have just been ruined beyond repair and I can't root for them anymore, they were fantastic in seasons 1 and 2 and now the are just terrible together.

Jacob&Bella
Sawyer&Kate
Logan&Veronica
Lucas&Brooke

Harry&Hermione: I adore their frienRABhip and actually think it was perfect in both the books and the movies, but in the back of my mind I can't help but wonder what they could have been. I honestly think they were exactly right for each other. They understood each other better than anyone else and were always there for each other, no matter what.

Angel&Cordelia
Willow&Tara
Jess&Rory
Alex&Izzie

Brooke/Lucas. I'll never understand how after being so close in S5 and being there for each other no matter what, they barely had a scene together in S6. I can deal with them not being endgame, but I wish the writers hadn't forgotten they actually were frienRAB. :(

THIS. Them as a couple never disappointed me, they are my bb's and will always be  They are my OTP and they never stopped loving each other and they chose each other over all the other people and over their own lives which is the purest form of love ever. It was never a question about whom Effy really loved and no one including writers or characters could argue that it always being Freddie. And even in the final she stayed loyal to him.

But I have exactly the same feeling towarRAB the writers and honestly I don't want to watch this show anymore. That writer who came up with this ridiculous brainwashing SL for Effy and Freddie vs. bat SL admitted that it made no sense. He admitted that it wasn't even meant to make a sense and that he wanted to make people angry. This right here. This is how you fail as a writer. When you stop paying attention to the story you are telling and working at it being well written and logical and instead you do something to see how the fans react you will always end up failing. This is not a creative process by any means, it is a lame lazy writing. And what did they get in the end? The whole gen was ruined, all their characters got either no closure at all (even Effy, the girl who was there since the bleeding beginning) or contrived and unbelieveable endings. And all of it was such a disappointing joke that a lot of fans gave up on Skins and I am one of them. That writer (JB) even left the show now, throwing a final pity party for himself. Great job, Skins

I also agree that FE deserved a happy ending more than any other couple probably. And definitelly more than all the Skins couples that where about cheating, betrayal and screwing each other over.
