Difference between sound quality of a midi control interface and midi to usb converter?

I want sound quality better than stereo quality to record on my computer. The upgrade is midi. However, there are two products which I want to inquire about quality.
The first is a Compact USB MIDI Interface (Standard)

The second is a USB MIDI Cable Converter PC to Music Keyboard

I will be recording drums and piano.
