Die Hard 4 a good film!

Yes I know that, which is what I have already.

But I am not sure yet if when 4 is released if they will do the boxset with all 4 together. If so, then I am not sure whether it will be worth buying just 4 on own or the set.

Just got back from seeing it too, loved it, just as good as the 3rd one, if not slightly better. Not quite as good as 1 and 2 though, they're just classics.

Loved the funny moments in this one too :D The lack of swearing doesn't hurt it at all, and he does just about get to say the whole Yippe Ki Yay line, just. Potentially my favourite film i've seen at the cinemas so far this year, 'Sunshine' probably just beats it though for me.

i enjoyed it too
GREAT ACTION in it too specially the scenes with the truck and the jet on the bridge OTT yea but was really exciting viewing.

also very funny bits too
justin long did a good job aswell i was expecting him to be very annoying but was he was good

I thought it was pretty good up until the final 20 or som minutes which felt like they had just come up with any old ending. Bruce still had it though. The double take with Agent Johnston was great, as was the yippee ki yay :D

Just got back now, definately worth the money IMO.
Like the comedy side to it, and the elevator shaft again lol.

Can't wait for DVD.

Didn't realise that Transformers was that going to be that good. After seeing the trailer that is going to be one to watch, but thats another thread.

Quote the advert shown, 2007 best summer movies.
I think I agree, simpsons, transformers, borne 3, rush hour 3 etc.

I mean I wouldn't take a woman on a date to see it as they would think you were being a typical bloke lol....

Total ... ......thought where is my cousin in the vid game ..

WISH ..OH WISH ....

WHITEHOUSE ..Down ... :)....cheering ..lol.......

(not real .. boooooo)
a big sigh an urgh ...lol ....

(btw I got the Command Centre , There ???!!!!!?)

You can bet there'll be another boxset with all four. Every film with multiple sequels, they re-issue a box set every time the new one comes out.

One of the best action films I've seen since Bad Boys 2.... loaRAB of action, some way over the top stunts and Bruce was great.

I've just been on IMDB forum and as usual the yanks were at it again with all the "THIS IS THE WORST MOVIE OF THE YEAR" and "THIS MOVIE SUCKS" threaRAB.

Best 2 hours i've spent in the cinema this year.

I think the 1st bit is in from #1 at Nakatomi, were Agent Johnson and Agent Johnson (No relation) turn up from the FeRAB.

In #4 he also meets 2 Johnsons, but not the same.

And the 2nd bit
is when they televised that white house with that message what if you ring 911 blah blan and they blow up the building, and then you relaise they hadn't

Obviously the film is to get mixed-views isn't everyones genre, some still don't like the original.

I enjoyed it anyways.

I really liked it, and I was kind of indifferent about the rest of the series, particularly Die Hard 2 and With A Vengeance.

I would give it a 7.5 out of 10, I think. (Some people would say that's too high for mindless action, but that's the whole point of Die Hard!)

The bits that cost it the half a point that would have got it 8 were:
- The stuff with the big rig and the fighter jet. Too over the top even for Die Hard, and with some dodgy digital effects of the bridge collapsing.
- The fact that they obscured McClane's catchphrase with a gunshot.

Ahh, yeah, I vaguely remember that now...

But it wasn't the White House....

Anyway, it was a decent film, way over the top, even for Die Hard, but I could watch it again.

Yes that got me too.
When I seen it I knew it wasn't but I guess how some can be confused.

Yeah I could watch it again.
Like the HGV chase and the F-13 lol, but not as good as the tunnel.

Now I wonder if #5 will be here in 2 years. If not, definately #4 to finish the series off - it's not a flop.

2hrs long? Wow. It didn't feel that length at all!

I thought it was a really cool movie. I think people that don't like it are kinda missing the point - it's a "Die Hard" movie! Of course it's gonna be cheesy with over the top action. Action movies are meant to be like that anyway, aren't they?

I loved Justin Long in it, btw, and Bruce Willis is still my favourite old fashioned action hero. He might be getting older but he's still got it.
