the state issued my brother a concealed carry permit last week. I'm guessing there's no "assaulting a public officer" charge on his record or whatever

Now, I'm not saying that him having a gun is smart....but yeah.

The county next to me sheriff's dept doesn't have cameras in their cars

A few of my buddies work over there. They have fun
 
But they're not required to always work or the video isn't required to not get misplaced. You hear about that all the time when video would vindicate a persons claim. The cam not working or the video is missing.
