I have lived in a foreign land most of my life. I visited my own country a number of times for vacation, but have never lived there since I was three. My summer vacation was spent in another foreign land yet I could hardly call it home.
In fact, I'm having a hard time deciding where "home" is for me. It's not that I don't like being a third culture kid, I just don't like the fact that I always feel 'homeless'. Home is out there somewhere; I just have to find out where.
Did you ever have this problem? What happened? How did you deal with it?
