Did you ever trouble identifying where "home" is for you?

I have lived in a foreign land most of my life. I visited my own country a number of times for vacation, but have never lived there since I was three. My summer vacation was spent in another foreign land yet I could hardly call it home.

In fact, I'm having a hard time deciding where "home" is for me. It's not that I don't like being a third culture kid, I just don't like the fact that I always feel 'homeless'. Home is out there somewhere; I just have to find out where.

Did you ever have this problem? What happened? How did you deal with it?

You question made me almost cry, because I can say that I do know how you feel.

I have not lived in different countries, but all my life have moved around alot. I have often said that I can't wait to one day feel like I am "at home." It's hard for me to explain. It just seems that everytimes I start to get comfortable somewhere I have to move somewhere else, so much that I don't even let myself get comfortable anymore.

Hang in there, one day you will be "home."

I've always lived in the same state and city and I can only remember living in one house. I would say home for you would be where you were born
