I'm swedish and was born in Sweden but my parents work for the foreign service. We were posted to Spain, Tanzania, Guatemala and Mali for 3-4 years in each country.
We just moved back to Sweden about 4 months ago where I will finish school. Although I'm pretty outgoing I often feel like the odd one out among my friends and classmates. Also my swedish is not perfect and I can't get rid of a french accent when I speak it, which is always commented upon. I don't now why but it seems like I don't fit in in my own country anymore.
Is it normal to feel that way and is it going to go away with time? Did you ever feel similar?
