Devil May Cry going to 360

Listen, I'm not one to e-thug, but FYI IBM MANUFACTURES THE CELL PROCESSOR.

I'm not going to argue with someone who is unable to see the bigger picture. This is not about sales. This is about laying the groundwork for an architecture that can eclipse everything that's currently available (and probably for a good bit of the future). The Cell is not just for the PS3 and if "you knew jack shit about how electronics work" you would know that it has many, many important implementations.

DirectX is a closed system that is truly designed for one and only one purpose: keeping the Windows ship afloat. If you honestly believe that this is a good model, I pity you.

The rumor isn't from a forum. The news that DMC4 is going to 360 is in the new issue of the Official Playstation Magazine.

This is what the magazine says:

Scan of said magazine:

The Cell IS a multicore processor. Each SPE is a RISC processor. The statistic that you've quoted about memory bandwidth does not include the Cell's ability for each SPE to access another SPE's memory. It's not necessary to access system RAM all the time.

That would be why I said it is a huge waste in a PS3...

And Direct X has been alot better feature wise since around version 7. You haven't been gaming long have you?

DirectX is another example of Microsoft's refusal to compete, not dissimilar from the conversion of developers to the 360. Everyone has their price I suppose.
