Destroy the Rebirth - "Gundam 00" Season 2 on SyFy's Ani-Monday Talkback

Nice going Syfy, they just edit out the ending, which kind was the whole point of the episode. I fear what they will do in the finale.
 
The second episode's epilogue is covered by the start of next week's episodes. Nothing lost there.

For the first, the crew finRAB out from Lyle that Al's been rescued. Milena exclaims that he's with a girl, which cause Feldt and Sumeragi to react with shock and some overt blushing. Heh. Elsewhere Saji is with Setsuna, and Setsuna shows off a rare smile. Saji comments on that, and Setsuna responRAB that it's normal to smile when happy things occur. It's a noticable shift from his earlier personality, so it's too bad that it got cut.

It enRAB with Regene confronting Tieria outside of Seravee. Tieria's stunned that Regene looks so much like him; Regene says it's because they share the same DNA. He then introduces himself and declares himself an innovator, leading into the next episode.
 
Last week, A-Laws unleashed its newest weapon--the space laser Memento Mori. With one shot, the capital of the Middle East's strongest country was demolished--a nation that stood in defiance of the Federation and A-Laws. In addition, new Innovator-developed mobile suits have entered the battlefield that easily challenge the Gundams on equal terms: the Gadessa and Garazzo.

Desperate for a decisive advantage, Celestial Being labors at its secret base in Lagrange 3, seeking to sync the new O Riser with the 00 Gundam. If successful, the full potential of the 00 Gundam's Twin Drive System will be realized. Meanwhile, it is only a matter of time until A-Laws attacks again. Can the Gundams turn the tide, or will Ribbons' grip on the world grow ever tighter?

Something I do find kind of interesting- seemingly this 00 Gundam is the ultimate trump card of Celestial Being. Tieria is happily entrusting it to Setsuna. That would seem to suggest he's done a 180 on the guy he once felt shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a Gundam.

episode #2 yay! Intro for the new season is OK...I liked season 1 intro better. & I just realized somthing. Setsuna is Kira! (I can't belive it took me this long to realize they had the same VA. I feel stupid. LULZ!
 
An interesting point. Why would Tieria give Setsuna, someone he considers unreliable, something so vital? Perhaps Tieria knows something we don't know.

I meant indirect in the sense that Ribbons tried to get everyone else to do his dirty work for him, which in the end made the audience despise him even more, and thus want Setsuna to take him down.

And they were more than ideas to each other, Ribbons is a person (well...not really, but oh well) that thought he had everything, everyone and even Veda under his control, and why? Because he thought he was the perfect Innovator, and because of this the one to lead humanity. Then comes along this boy that he saw potential in and has the opportunity to surpass him as the one who will lead humanity. I personally think that the tension between the two is fantastic, and especially when Ribbons realizes things really aren't going as well as he planned. Sure, they hadn't been directly fighting, but everytime Setsuna fought the A-Laws or any innovator, he was fighting Ribbons and because of that the rivalry enRAB up working out.

I agree. But being tools for a mastermind does not excuse them for their sins caused by malice or ignorance.

New Noahs Ark? HAHA, Ribbons Thinks he's Noah, how Amusing, on the other hand he must be Pretty cocky to compare himself to a Biblical hero. You gotta love villians!
