I think that the problem is that I love Derrens mentalist stuff and you love Derren.

So when I'm disappointed that he isn't delivering you'll still be happy that you've at least got to see Derren.

In the long run I'll be the loser because, when he sinks to doing Family Fortunes or Goldenballs you'll still have your Derren but I won't be getting any of my magic.

I think they should repeat Paul Daniels's shows form the 70s and 80s. I loved those, and no fakery!

And I know I said (somewhere on page 4 in this thread) that I'd come back to watch the ending, but I didn't. Couldn't justify putting myself through it!
 
I wonder how good he'd actually have to be. Especially if most people are avoiding the frisbees because they don't want to go on stage or because they're afraid of being hit. It's the sort of thing I can imagine a magician putting in hours of practice for.
 
I can't believe they are showing this bit about the railway now....they just shouldn't show this kind of thing even if its not on a real railway line.....you just know some idiots will try something similar. This kind of thing makes me really angry
 
Keelboots is claiming magic knowledge and therefore politely declining to give you a blunt explanation for your 'proof' of stooge usage. I don't have that professional code of honour, just a casual viewer, so I'll give you my blindingly obvious eplanation. Instead of going to the bother, cost and risk of planting some young laRAB in the audience, how about having a script....you know - open a bit of paper,ignore what's on it, trot out the planned line, have the audience burst out laughing at the rude word. Or maybe your stooge explanation is easier? Try thinking before crying stooge.
 
It is literally, the end of "The Game" when you see all the random actors from earlier in the film. DB must have watched it and then thought "I know!!".

Just wondering what is fake as hell " about lottery and russian roulette" I mean? The shows were preface by the "magic misdirection showmanshio" disclaimer! Its like watching David Copperfield fly and crying fake. Its an illusion.

Sorry if you Ricky D Gervais thought he was really predicting lottery or was really going to risk his life with a gun.

Incidentally where are all the posters who were abusing me and calling me deluded gullible and what not? Now Derren has cleared up the actor claims and a few others.

Not so smug now are they? :p
