i can't think of anyone who's begged harder to be aborted.
 
With 9/11 there was a clear enemy, and after the attack there was only one thing to do: go and crack some skulls. Which is what bush did.

But what is Obama going to do? It's unclear, because there are too many different paths to take. There's no unity over the matter. With 9/11, there was more unity than we've seen in a long time.

Bush used 9/11 and the struggles we had dealing with it to grab up a second term. With Obama's disaster there isn't a clear route. Yes, the main objective is to plug the hole. But what then? Who is the enemy? BP? But that isn't solved through another war with england. It'll be legislated somehow, and it won't create unity because the problem is not as simple as a terrorist attack from a hostile group.
 
No, I am not. Rights are self declared. I have the right to freedom of speech. Rights are rights. If a human, an animal, is to have rights why should the criterion, self declaration, change for other types of animals? If it does, then we are no longer talking about rights.
