if by "climate and energy policy" you mean "the administration will go WAY overboard and create policies, laws, and procedures that will increase costs but not impact the issue in any significant way" then I agree.

Animals should be afforded a certain level of welfare proportional to the probability of them formulating the abstraction self with higher primates being afforded the highest level and baby chicks close to that of ants.

Even if the Macondo well is never capped and continues to leak until the petroleum formation it's tapping into is exhausted, it will still be just a blip in geological time.

Basically, force all new construction to include only energy star appliances and at least xKW of so-called alternative energy. Expand gas-guzzler tax to all gasoline-consuming motor vehicles for private use. Tax tax tax. Screw over populace.
